Topic: Don’t give up; help is no the way

Test: Luke: 7: 11: 16

 

 

Introduction

What is your present situation? Does hope seems deem? Has human specialist written you off? Has sorrow overwhelm your life? The Lord instructed me to tell you that: Don’t give up; help is on the way.

 

Situation

Soon afterward, Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went along with him. As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out- the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. A large crowd from the town was with her (Luke 7:11-12)

 

A widow who lived in Nain was profoundly in sorrow to have noticed the arrival of the Messiah in their town. This widow was in a hopeless situation. Her son was dead. If her son was sick, there could have been hope of healing but the precious son was dead. “Death” signifies hopelessness. States of being where change seem impossible. I strongly believe that there is no greater physical calamity on earth that could happen to a woman  (part from loosing her salvation) than to see the grave of her child. This widow was indeed in a state of hopelessness.

 

Had it been that this widow has other sons, there could have been some oil of consolation for her but the dead son was her ONLY son. She was in a situation without option. In their then world, the men usually thank God daily that they were not created to be woman. Women were regarded as second-class being. To have ten girls without a son is almost equal to having no child at all. Now this widow have no two sons but one and the only son in her presence was confirmed dead.

 

This woman happened to be a widow that gave us a sure notion that her husband was dead. She has no husband to turn to for another chance if it will turn out to be a boy.  I wouldn’t know her age to see the chances of remarriage but I know that she is of age because the son was called a young man, which gave us the assurance that he is not a kid. This widow was in a hopeless situation without option and possibly without any future opportunity for replacement.

 

Is your situation close to the situation of this widow? Are you in a situation that seems hopeless? Does it seem as if there is no opportunity in life for you than to continue in the present mess? Do people around seems to have no power to help than to keep accompanying you with tears to the final juncture of hopelessness? Beloved! Don’t give up; help is on the way.

 

Suddenness

When the Lord saw her, heart went out to her and he said, “Don’t cry” (Luke 7:13)

 

This widow was not expecting to meet anyone than the person that would sympathize with her. But fortunately for her, she was treading on the path where the Master was also treading. She came across the master possibly without recognizing Him because she could have been lost in deep sorrow.

 

Her situation attracted divine attention. The Master could not let her go with her sorrow. Your situation shall attract divine attention this month in the name of Jesus Christ. Heaven will not let you go with your sorrow until it turns joy in Jesus’ name. Jesus never took cognizance of her sorrow alone but He gave her a divine consolation. Every areas of your life that has been bringing you sorrow. In any aspect of your life that you have been shedding tears day and night. This month, you shall receive a divine consolation in Jesus’ name. Divine consolation that brings transformation shall come your way this month in the name of Jesus Christ. Don’t give; help is on the way.

 

Service

Then he went up and touched the coffin and those carrying it stood still. He said, “Young man, I say to you, get up” (Luke 7:14)

 

The divine consolation that the Master brought to her was not to take heart and continue to live in the mess, instead, a consolation with a transforming power. The Master touched the coffin and those who has been contracted to take the young man to his final juncture of hopelessness got no choice than to stop. As many people or situation that are transiting your life to the final house of hopelessness will receive the touch of the Lord and they shall be relief of that job in Jesus’ name. 

 

Do you still remember the touch of the Lord? That was what the woman with the issue of blood came in contact with and twelve years problem became things of the past. (Luke 8:43-48) As you go in this month and in the rest days in this year, you shall receive the touch of the Lord that will translate your life from nobody to noble person. That situation that you have been struggling with all this while, will receive the touch of God and it shall become things of the past in Jesus’ name. As many people driving your life to the wrong direction. As many spirits that has been contracted to drive your life to the grave will receive the touch of the Lord this month and their work shall come to an end in your life in Jesus’ name.

 

After the Master touched the young man, those carrying him to the grave never resume to carrying him again. Your bad days and bad memories shall receive the touch of the Lord and shall turned good and sweet days in Jesus’ name. After those carrying the young man stood still, the master spoke: “ young man, I say to you get up” Hear the voice of the Lord, My child, get up from your shame and mess. Can you hear the voice of the spirit grace saying: Get up from poverty to prosperity. Get up from sorrow to joy. Get up from breakdown to breakthrough. Get up from pity to palace. Get up from mess to miracle. I hear the lord saying:” Tell my child that, his days of weeping are over. I still hear my father saying: Get up from reproach to glorification. Shout it loud: devil, the lord has issued the decree that I shall get up from all sorrow.

 

Do you remember that the same voice brought Lazarus from grave after spending four days in the land of the dead (John 11:43-44)? Listen: As many of your glory, joy and aspiration that have been residing in the grave, the lord said today: come out of the grave.

The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother (Luke 7:15). After the dead man heard the voice of the Lord, he came back to life, not as an incomplete man but a whole being and he began to speak. Listen: your glory shall not only rise but shall speak. Your sorrow shall not only turn joy but your joy shall be seen and be heard home and aboard in the name of Jesus Christ. After this young man came back to life, he was not giving to his friends or neighbor or the relatives of his father or that of mother. He was giving to the mother. As your glory, joy and greatness are coming back to life, they shall not be given to anyone but you in the name of Jesus Christ.

 

What has your doctor said concerning your health? Listen: the Lord said, your days of illness are over.

 

Success

They were all filled with awe and praised God.” A prophet has appeared among us,” they said, ”God has come to help his people (Luke 7:16)

 

This widow left her house with weeping but he return home with astonishing, outstanding and outshining miracle. Do you come into this mouth with tears; your tears shall turn astonishing, outshining and outshining miracle in Jesus’ name. Your days of sorrow are over. Your trouble shall become testimony in Jesus’ name.

 

Conclusion

 

No matter the depth of your hopelessness and how helpless you are, don’t give; help is on the way. The savior is awaiting you at the next junction, don’t give up, move a little further and you shall smile. This is your mouth of divine transformation. Just Believe!
